Leaving For Scotland
Finally, I've gathered all my courage and booked a trip to the West-Coast of Scotland. Travelling by plane towards Edinburgh and driving another 6 hour 'till I reach the seaside. I've been dreaming, talking and procrastinating this trip for a few years but there is no more escaping to it.
To give a taste of what I'm packing on my journey I made some "kitshots"
In my bag is my trustworthy Canon 5D mkII with the 50mm 1.4f
and my everyday 24-70mm 2.8f USM L . Going to have fun shooting analog with my Minolta XE-5 and Minolta SR-T-303 loaded with Kodak Gold 200 and Ilford HP5 bw film.
Taking a special friend with me this time, Polaroid 1000 Polatronic 1Land Camera and SX-70 film from Impossible Project. Taking notes in the essential Moleskine notebook.
When in town or the city I'll probably try to keep it simple. I don't like running around like a camera gear noob ( although I probably am ) so no giant Lowepro bags for me please.
I'm tying to remeber when I last wore something else than these durable and reliable clothes.
Allways Red Wing Harvester boots for heavy duties and Levi's for the best undercover utility vest. I can almost stuff an entire backpack in my Trucker jeans. Black 510s , I tend to crawl, jump, run or climb a lot so these pants need to be able to bend like I do. And of course my traveling companion, my Brixton Swindle hat.
I nervous as hell but I'm guessing it's going to be worth it when I start to puzzle this project together after I get back.
